Principle Responsibilities: Roles and Responsibilities for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain & Finance Functional Consultant

Implementation & Configuration
- Responsible in end-to-end implementation projects for Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain modules.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 modules (Finance, Supply Chain) to align with business processes.
- Ensure seamless integration with other ERP systems, leveraging technical expertise in SFTP, FTP, and web services.
Integration & Interface Management
- Design and manage integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party applications (e.g., CRM systems, E-commerce platforms).
- Utilize Data Management Framework, Azure Logic Apps, and other tools for efficient data flow.
- Set up and manage secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTP) for data exchange.
- Ensure data consistency and reliability across integrated systems by implementing robust validation and error-handling mechanisms.
Data Migration
- Data migration efforts from legacy systems to Dynamics 365, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop data mapping, transformation, and loading strategies to migrate historical and transactional data.
- Collaborate with data owners to validate data post-migration and resolve discrepancies.
Support & Maintenance
- Provide post-& pre -implementation support for Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain modules, resolving issues and ensuring system stability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration points, ensuring seamless data exchange and system performance.
- Manage enhancement requests and system customizations to meet evolving business needs.
- Implement patches, updates, and version upgrades, minimizing disruption to business operations.
Functional Expertise
Finance Module
- Configure and support financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank Management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and local statutory requirements.
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Supply Chain Module
- Configure and support modules such as Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Production.
- Optimize supply chain processes, including demand planning, procurement, inventory control, and production scheduling.
- Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) to align supply chain activities with business goals.
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and create documentation to enable end-user adoption and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure project success.
Key Deliverables
- Successfully implemented and configured Dynamics 365 modules with seamless third-party integrations.
- Resolved support tickets within agreed SLAs, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Delivered detailed documentation on configurations, integrations, and training materials.
- Ensured data integrity during migration and maintained consistent system performance
Qualifications - Master’s degree (in MBA Finance & SCM),
- BE/BCA In Computer Science
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience, Certification Dynamics D365 is Plus/ Added Advantage
- Previous experience in the pharmaceuticals, medical device, or life science industry a plus
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations configuration and customization.
- Strong integration knowledge with other ERP systems and third-party interfaces.
- Experience with SFTP/FTP, Data Management Framework, Azure Logic Apps, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Knowledge of SQL, data migration tools, Power bi, and integration frameworks.
- Good Hands on D365 Integration using Doapp added advantage
- Functional Skills:
- In-depth understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes (Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Production).
- Experience with data migration, system integration, and user training
- Experience with project management software (such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and methodologies (like Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage
