Exciting opportunity for an experienced Per Diem Staff Pharmacist at East Liberty Family Health Care Center. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for a pharmacist with a retail pharmacy background and an active PA pharmacist license.

The pharmacy is managed by Maxor National Pharmacy Services.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing all of the dispensing duties of a pharmacist, that all customers receive safe and accurate dispensing, and for adhering to all State and Federal Pharmacy laws regarding the dispensing of medications, record keeping, etc. Successful candidate will also be responsible for expanding and enhancing clinical services in the ambulatory care setting including MTM in this position. Pharmacist will precept pharmacy students and residents and serve as a drug information resource to patients and other healthcare professionals.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, or Pharm. D., from an approved school of pharmacy and registration by the state board of licensure.
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in Pennsylvania
Experience:
- One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred
- Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Knowledge of polices and regulations pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
- Ability to supervise and train assigned staff.
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Ability to assume essential responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
