A retail pharmacy opportunity is available in York, PA for a full-time Pharmacist position on a direct hire basis. This role involves actively supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail setting with variable day and afternoon shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while maximizing profitability.
- Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and dispense medications and medical compounds, providing guidance to self-medicating patients and dispensing non-prescription products.
- Provide patient immunizations on a regular basis to support community health.
- When Pharmacy Manager is absent, assist in scheduling pharmacy associates, recognizing performance, managing discipline, and delegating assignments to optimize team effectiveness and meet company goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License preferred.
- Experience in retail pharmacy settings highly beneficial.
