Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (5x8-hour shifts)
Qualifications
- Current Virginia Radiation Therapist License (must be in hand for submission)
- Experience with Truebeam and Halcyon treatment machines
- Familiarity with Aria Record/Verify system
- Solid foundation in all aspects of radiation therapy, including simulations and treatment planning
- Ability to assist during Brachytherapy procedures
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Capacity to triage patients and elevate clinical concerns to nursing staff as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily delivery of prescribed radiation treatments in accordance with oncologist instructions
- Accurately interpret treatment plans and machine settings to ensure precise patient care
- Participate in treatment simulations and patient setup procedures
- Assist in tumor localization, dosimetry, and overall treatment planning as required
- Support and, when appropriate, educate radiation therapy students within the clinical setting
- Be present and actively assist during Brachytherapy treatments
- Triage patients presenting with acute needs and facilitate prompt nursing evaluation

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
