Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Implement appropriate behavioral interventions and classroom management strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Minnesota teaching license or eligibility for appropriate licensure.
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school teams and families.
