Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) – Enteral Nutrition Services – New Providence, NJ (Direct Hire)
We are seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance for an enteral nutrition services operation in New Providence, NJ. This is a strictly operations and compliance-focused PIC position — the pharmacist will NOT be responsible for managing production or pharmacy staff.
The infusion department at this location has been sold, and the site will transition to strictly Respiratory Therapy and Enteral Nutrition services by the end of the year.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM),
Location: New Providence, NJ (On-site)
Salary: Starting at $135,000 (annually)
Essential Duties:
- Oversee overall pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance, including order reviews, verifications, dispensing, labeling, recordkeeping, and shipping
- Ensure all multi-state dispensing activity complies with state board of pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, licensing, inspections, audits, and multi-state dispensing/shipping requirements
- Develop and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures for multi-state operations and regulatory compliance
- Provide clinical and quality oversight for enteral nutrition therapy, drug utilization review (DUR), adverse event reporting, and quality assurance
- Collaborate with clinical, intake, operations, reimbursement, HR, and compliance teams
- Maintain required compliance documentation and support credentialing, accreditation, and regulatory audits
- Provide regulatory oversight and support for audits, hearings, and facility needs as required
Licensure:
- Active and unrestricted New Jersey Pharmacist license required
- Must obtain Tennessee, New York, and Massachusetts pharmacist licenses within 6 months
- Client will pay for required additional state licensure
- $2,000 bonus for every additional state license obtained while actively employed
Requirements:
- PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program
- Active, unrestricted NJ Pharmacist license
- Ability to obtain TN, NY, and MA pharmacist licenses within 6 months
- Active DEA registration and ability to obtain required controlled-substance registrations
- 3–5 years of pharmacy experience required
- PIC or pharmacy management experience required
- Multi-state pharmacy compliance experience strongly preferred
- Home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or enteral/parenteral nutrition experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, enteral nutrition therapy, dispensing systems, and shipping compliance
- Strong leadership, regulatory judgment, documentation, and communication skills
- BCNSP certification preferred but not required
- Ability to perform computer-based order review and verification for extended periods
- Occasional travel for audits, hearings, or facility oversight may be required
