Overview
The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for leading a portfolio of products, including development and launch of new products and product enhancements for existing products and services. The Sr. Product Manager will understand industry landscape and competitive challenges and create innovative solutions to improve quality, member health outcomes, and cost-improvements/ avoidance for members and clients through technology capabilities and services. The product offerings will be focused on increasing customer growth, delivering customer savings, while promoting a differentiated customer experience.
Position Location
This is a remote-based position within the Continental US.
Ideal Experience Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- 5 -7 total years’ experience with 5+ years in Pharmacy Benefits Management, Healthcare, or Pharmacy industry strongly preferred.
- 5+ years in Product Management, Product Development and experience with product launches and management of those products through the product development lifecycle.
- 5+ project management experience and knowledge of pharmacy benefits management, pharmacy industry strongly preferred
- Healthcare technology; ability to liaison between the client and technology teams
- Adept at partnering cross-functionally, leading meetings, and successfully managing projects from inception through implementation and monitoring post launch
- Previous experience managing cross-functional projects to timely and successful completion
- Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control and monitor project activities and basic financial analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities in a matrix organization
- Utility player that is comfortable taking on a variety of challenges and able to operate autonomously with little supervision

Responsibilities
- Partner with Senior Director, Product and Services and other key stakeholders to develop product & service roadmap for Maxor.
- Responsible for development, implementation, coordination, and assessment of products.
- Provide leadership as a "go-to" resource on product strategy team for capabilities that support our growth efforts and meet our customer needs.
- Demonstrate curiosity to understand "how" and "why" existing systems/processes operate the way they do and be able to fully document processes and technology capabilities.
- Use knowledge gained to enhance product design and inspire new product solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop project plans, and manage the development and rollout of new products & services.
- Performs market research to understand competitive landscape, define product identity and stay informed of changing trends that may influence future direction of product portfolio.
- Provide recommendations on product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy.
- Partner with marketing to develop market facing collateral for a portfolio of products, throughout the product lifecycle; including sales decks, sell sheets, RFP responses, email, and other content.
- Collaborates with marketing to identify marketing activities for strategic planning and go-to-market implementation.
- Coordinate with internal groups to ensure products & services are represented consistently across proposals, sales and marketing materials, and other collateral.
- Support a range of strategic initiatives, as needed, to achieve short-term and long-term goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Experience:
