Retail Staff Pharmacist – Boothwyn, PA (13-Week Contract-to-Hire)
RPh on the Go is seeking a Full-Time Retail Staff Pharmacist for an urgent contract-to-hire opportunity in Boothwyn, PA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced retail pharmacist who enjoys patient care, immunizations, team leadership, and working in a community pharmacy setting. Term of Assignment: 13-week contract with the opportunity for direct-hire.
Schedule: Full-time, Alternating two-week schedule
Week 1: Monday – Friday (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Week 2: Monday, Wednesday & Friday (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM); Thursday & Saturday (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
- Pharmacist will work every other Saturday
- During Saturday weeks, Thursday will be a four-hour shift
- Additional Thursday coverage will be provided by another part-time pharmacist
Job Duties:
- Dispense prescriptions and provide patient-focused pharmacy care
- Manage pharmacy compliance and regulatory requirements
- Oversee inventory and cost management
- Lead immunization programs, including COVID-19, influenza, and other recommended vaccines
- Provide team leadership, training, and development
- Implement and oversee quality assurance checks to maintain accuracy and minimize errors
- Identify opportunities to improve pharmacy processes and efficiency
- Gather and respond to patient feedback to improve services
- Manage pharmacy data and reporting
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
- Recent retail pharmacy experience required
- Immunization certification preferred
- Comfortable working the alternating Saturday schedule
- Candidates should live within approximately 40–50 minutes of the worksite due to traffic and commute considerations
