Who We Are:
Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA), provides care communities with access, solutions, and insights to help them run their businesses more effectively. Our members include post-acute providers across the care continuum including long-term care, home infusion, and specialty pharmacies, as well as senior living and other group living facilities. Our team of associates are passionate about our common mission of helping people age with grace, and champion our core values of being Curious Learners, Selfless Advocates, and Relentless Finishers.
Who we’re looking for:
The Senior Specialist, Marketing is an experienced individual contributor who develops and executes complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns for assigned products, solutions, and business priorities. Working in partnership with the Marketing leads, who set strategy and direction, the Senior Specialist turns that direction into finished, in-market campaigns—translating objectives into integrated campaign and go-to-market plans, developing content and creative, coordinating cross-functional execution, and using performance data to recommend improvements. This role provides dedicated marketing support for assigned business units, products, and partner relationships across the company. This is a growth role: the person begins by executing against direction set by the Marketing leads and, as they build knowledge of the business and the member base, is expected to contribute more to campaign planning and strategy recommendations over time. This role does not set overall marketing strategy or own the marketing portfolio, departmental resource allocation, or formal people management.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Integrated Campaign Planning & Execution
- Build, execute, and optimize complex, multi-channel campaigns across email, web, social media, digital, print, webinars, events, and other relevant channels, working from the strategy and direction set by the Marketing leads.
- Translate approved business objectives into campaign briefs, audience plans, messaging, content calendars, deliverables, timelines, and measures of success.
- Coordinate stakeholder input, reviews, approvals, dependencies, and handoffs; surface risks and recommend practical solutions to keep work on schedule.
- Apply segmentation, personalization, testing, and marketing automation practices to strengthen engagement and conversion.
- Develop sales talk tracks and enablement content, in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales leads, so the sales team can carry campaign messaging into member conversations.
- Write, produce, and edit member-facing content and campaign creative – including email campaigns and nurture sequences, social posts, landing page copy, sales aids, and sell sheets – and design social graphics and presentation-ready materials in Canva, ensuring accuracy, audience relevance, brand consistency, and channel effectiveness.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Execution
- Support and execute the marketing workstream for assigned product launches, solution enhancements, and priority initiatives, working from the positioning and launch strategy set by the Marketing and Product leads.
- Execute approved launch communications and sales enablement materials in alignment with plans established by the Marketing and Product leads.
- Partner with Product Management, Sales, Operations, and subject-matter experts to translate product features and technical information into clear member and customer benefits.
- Document lessons learned and contribute reusable templates and best practices for future launches.
- Support partner and co-branded marketing by developing partner-facing campaign materials, presentation content, and program communications for assigned partner and channel relationships.
- Sustain products after launch by running ongoing in-market campaigns, and refreshing messaging as the market shifts.
Member Programs & Events
- Support recuring member-facing webinar programs by developing and executing the promotional campaigns that drive registration across email, social, and landing pages.
- Curate session content in partnership with internal teams and external partners, and support dress rehearsals, including presenter preparation, run-of-show development, and readiness checks ahead of each session.
- Serve as the technical lead on the webinar platform, supporting registration setup, live production, panelist and presenter management, engagement features, and post-session recording distribution.
- Extend program value through follow-up communications, on-demand content promotion, and post-program materials that convert attendance into ongoing engagement.
- Develop tradeshow and event marketing, including pre-show email and social promotion, meeting invitations, booth messaging and graphics, sales materials and giveaways, and post-show follow-up campaigns that convert booth conversations into member engagement.
- Support the related event logistics as a contained component of a broader marketing scope, including attendee registration, badges, booth reservations, and materials shipping and tracking.
Digital Marketing, Content & Brand
- Develop and optimize content for web, email, social media, presentations, sales materials, webinars, thought leadership, and member communications.
- Build and distribute campaigns using Act-On or comparable marketing automation tools and maintain content in WordPress or comparable content-management systems.
- Apply SEO, SEM, accessibility, brand, and channel best practices to improve content quality, discoverability, reach, and engagement.
- Apply editorial judgment to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and member-appropriate, and direct AI output by editing, validating, and elevating it rather than accepting it as finished work.
- Coordinate with vendors, agencies, freelancers, or platform partners for assigned deliverables, monitoring quality and timelines.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Define campaign objectives, key performance indicators, testing plans, and reporting needs in consultation with stakeholders and Marketing leadership.
- Use Google Analytics 4 and campaign data to analyze web, engagement, lead-generation, and launch performance, identify where campaigns are losing people, and bring specific recommendations to the Marketing leads that improve conversion and engagement.
- Prepare and present clear dashboards, performance summaries, and recommendations to Marketing leadership and business stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate campaign documentation, decision logs, communication calendars, standard operating procedures, and organized digital assets.
AI, Automation & Process Improvement
- Use approved AI, automation, and productivity tools to accelerate research, drafting, content variation, quality review, meeting summaries, and performance narratives while independently validating outputs.
- Identify practical workflow improvements and contribute prompt templates, checklists, documentation, and approved-use examples that improve consistency and efficiency.
- Support small-scale pilots by testing approved capabilities, documenting results and risks, and sharing recommendations with Marketing leadership.
- Protect confidential, proprietary, m
ember, and customer information and follow all applicable MHA policies, quality controls, and compliance requirements.
Collaboration & Growth
- Serve as the day-to-day marketing contact for assigned initiatives and build productive relationships across functions.
- Influence stakeholders and build alignment through clear recommendations, effective communication, and reliable follow-through.
- Build knowledge of the business and the member base over time, contributing increasingly to campaign planning and, eventually, to strategy recommendations.
- Support broader Marketing team priorities, events, and special projects as assigned.
Competencies:
- Campaign Execution: Builds and manages complex, multi-channel work from planning through measurement and optimization, working from direction set by the Marketing leads.
- Business Partnership & Influence: Understands stakeholder needs, provides informed recommendations, and builds alignment without relying on formal authority.
- Analytical Thinking: Interprets performance data and converts findings into practical, evidence-based actions.
- Communication & Editorial Judgment: Produces and reviews clear, compelling, audience-appropriate communications.
- Project Leadership: Coordinates interdependent work, manages risks and deadlines, and escalates consequential issues appropriately.
- Digital Fluency & Responsible AI Utilization: Uses approved marketing, automation, and AI tools effectively while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, human oversight, and compliance.
- Brand Stewardship & Quality: Applies brand standards and sound judgment to deliver accurate, polished work.
- Collaboration & Growth: Partners effectively across teams, shares knowledge, and grows toward greater contribution to planning and strategy over time.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Four to seven years of progressive experience in marketing communications, campaign development, demand generation, digital marketing, or product marketing.
- Experience supporting B2B organizations; healthcare, pharmacy, post-acute care, technology-enabled services, or another regulated environment preferred.
Marketing, Analytical & Technical Skills
- Demonstrated success building and running complex, integrated campaigns from concept through measurement, and supporting product launches or go-to-market initiatives.
- Strong writing, editing, presentation, stakeholder-management, project-management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance, develop clear reporting, and translate findings into optimization recommendations.
- Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, website content management, analytics, collaboration, and productivity platforms.
- Experience with Act-On (or HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot), Google Analytics 4, WordPress, Canva, a webinar platform such as GoToWebinar, Zoom Webinars, or ON24, and Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, or Power BI, or comparable platforms preferred.
- Comfortable executing against direction set by senior marketers while building toward greater contribution to campaign planning over time.
Salary: The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000.
This is the lowest to highest salary range for which this role has been evaluated.
