Contribute to efficient medication delivery and patient support as an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician in a dynamic, growing healthcare environment. This direct hire opportunity is based in Phoenix, AZ, offering a Monday to Friday shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (post-training), with a required rotation of weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter new and refill medication orders into the pharmacy software system
- Monitor and track medication delivery status
- Provide exceptional telephonic customer service, consulting with patients, providers, and pharmacies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate medication fulfillment
- Review reports to identify and resolve medication order concerns promptly
- Support pharmacy run times and exceed customer and colleague expectations
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required
- Prior experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy setting strongly preferred
- Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills
