MaxorPlus has an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Account Executiveto join our growing pharmacy company. The Clinical Account Executive is responsible for identifying and implementing strategies that will lead to controlling or decreasing overall health care cost. This position is responsible for developing and promoting strategies that enhance quality of pharmaceutical care in a cost effective manner to establish completive business advantage and to bring about the most effective clinical results for our disease state programs.

Our Locations

Responsibilities
- Present at quarterly, biannual, or annual meetings with the Account Executive to discuss clinical insights, trends and recommendations.
- Provide clinical analyses and associated insights for client requested reports, using MaxorPlus analytical systems and data warehouses.
- Work in collaboration with the assigned Account Executive to service client’s needs
- Serve as liaison between Clinical Ops and client in relation to clinical updates.
- Participate in various internal committees, included but not limited to: Formulary Advisory Committee, P&T Committee and Product Development Committee
- Participate in sales finalist presentations.
- Ensure effective communications between customers and business
- Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
- Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.
- Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
- Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor or Doctorate Degree Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy. Current Pharmacist licensure in good standing, in at least one state.
Experience: 5 years’ experience in direct client facing PBM clinical role or related field (required). Completed Managed Care Residency Program (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in drug literature, clinical trials and national guidelines
- In depth knowledge of the pharmacy benefits industry including commercial, Medicare, Medicaid
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
- Commanding and persuasive presenter in individual and group environments
- Leadership skills to effectively implement changes and solve problems
- Ability to work independently, while collaborating with other team members
- Ability to analyze, understand, and use statistical report data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
- Willingness to travel
