- CPR/BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for MRI exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety throughout
- Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols tailored to each patient’s needs
- Maintain precise patient records, document procedures, and verify image quality prior to submission to radiologists
- Monitor equipment performance, assist with routine maintenance, and uphold safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical staff to deliver coordinated care
- Adhere to HIPAA and all hospital/clinic protocols regarding patient confidentiality
