Position: Account Manager

Primary Function
To coordinate the day-to-day business & operational aspects of assigned data services program(s) in a detailed and organized way, providing visibility to all program stakeholders (internal & external). This role requires working with manufacturers, pharmacies, data aggregators, pharmacy operating systems, and other internal departments to meet the program timelines & KPI, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Job Scope And Major Responsibilities
- Proficiency in the understanding the programs requirements, including timelines, business objectives, and deliverables.
- Initiative in conducting, leading, and supporting meetings with internal & external teams to meet the program requirements, including C-suite executives.
- Taking and maintaining detailed documentation of meeting notes and tracking action items, follow-ups, timelines, and open issues.
- Appropriate and timely escalation to supervisors and leadership based on issue severity or criticality of deliverable.
- Preparing materials for business reviews and sales presentations.
- Responding to RFPs and RFIs.
- Coordinate with appropriate groups for contract execution.
- Train & onboard pharmacies on program, including technology solutions available to meet program requirements.
- Track approved data component changes within manufacturer and pharmacy partner agreements.
- Assist with pharmacy partner’s IT security reviews and coordinate responses in collaboration with Asembia technology & security and compliance resources.
- Assist with the creation of business reviews, reporting and agendas.
- Creating and maintaining business rules and artifacts for assigned programs.
- Reviewing data report to check for noticeable gaps, errors, or omissions.
- Reviewing trending data for quality and compliance
- Reviewing client dashboards to ensure KPI’s are being met
- Profile pharmacies for inclusion in select programs
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate deliverables for manufacturer partner
- Create and update program trackers
- Additional assigned tasks as needed.
- Compliance with the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and its implementing regulations, as amended (“HIPAA”)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- must be a pharmacist or pharmacy technician in good standing
- 3+ years' relatable experience in the pharmaceutical/pharmacy experience required
- 3+ years' experience in client facing role required
- C-suite level client facing experience preferred
- Experience responding to RFPs & RFIs (Request for Proposal & Request for Information) preferred
- Candidate must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must have stellar verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in Excel
