Maxor National Pharmacy Services has an EXCITING, opening for an experienced, full-time, customer focused Pharmacy Technician. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work within Maxor National Pharmacy Services network of managed clinic-based, in-house pharmacies at the Callen Lorde location in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take prescription orders
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
- Answer the phone
- Input customer information into the computer system
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months (Maxor will Assist)
- 2+ years retail pharmacy experience; experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting preferred.
- Computer experience mandatory
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish speaking skills a plus
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
