Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Opening – 26/27 School Year
Details
- Remote or Onsite Position
- Full-Time or Part-Time based on district needs
- K-12 Caseload
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support students' academic, communication, and social-emotional development
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Work closely with teachers, staff, parents, and administration
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Education and Certification
- Appropriate state Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing certification or licensure
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- ASL proficiency or experience preferred, depending on district needs
- Virtual/online teaching experience preferred
