Qualifications
- Active and verifiable Special Education Teacher certification in Alabama (certification lookup)
- K-6 Certification required for inclusion positions
- 6-12 Certification accepted for both self-contained and inclusion roles
- Previous teaching experience in special education settings preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a student-centered mindset
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and families
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to each student’s IEP
