Responsibilities
- Provides healthcare services for student(s) (K-12)
- Experience with medically fragile student, G-tube, seizure, rescue Meds for Asthma and Seizures, and bus riding with the student
- Must be comfortable bus riding with students to and from school
- Implements specialized health care protocols as directed by the health management plan
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist in implementing health care plans for students with chronic conditions
Qualifications
- Must have RI Registered Nurse License/School Nurse Teacher (SNT) Certificate through the RIDOE is required for this position
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program preferred but not required
- Worked in a School setting for at least 1 year or related
- Current CPR, First Aid, and BLS certification
