BUSINESS ANALYST, STRATEGIC FINANCE
Position Summary
We are seeking a high-potential Business Analyst to join our team and serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership. This individual will combine rigorous financial analysis, business insight, and emerging AI capabilities to drive decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings experience from a top-tier consulting firm, corporate strategy group, investment environment, or strategic finance function, paired with an MBA and a demonstrated track record of achievement outside the workplace, such as competitive athletics or other high-performance pursuits. They possess exceptional executive presence, thrive in a collaborative in-office environment, and aspire to grow into a future business leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance, business trends, and strategic opportunities to support executive decision-making.
- Build financial models, forecasts, business cases, and scenario analyses.
- Partner with senior leaders to evaluate investments, operational initiatives, and growth strategies.
- Leverage AI tools and advanced analytics to improve business insights, reporting efficiency, and decision quality.
- Translate complex quantitative findings into clear recommendations for executive and non-technical audiences.
- Develop executive-level presentations for leadership, board, and stakeholder meetings.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive data-informed business transformation initiatives.
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and emerging technologies impacting the business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Technology, and Executive Leadership teams.
Required Qualifications
- MBA from a highly regarded program.
- 3-7 years of experience in management consulting, strategic finance, corporate strategy, financial analysis, or business analytics.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience working directly with senior executives and navigating high-visibility projects.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with modern analytics tools and AI-enabled productivity platforms.
- Preference for working in a highly collaborative, office-based environment.
