Position Overview
Rx Relief is seeking a qualified, detail-oriented Temporary Pharmacist for an ongoing assignment near Columbia, MO. This role offers stable weekday hours with no weekend or on-call coverage, no direct patient contact, and comprehensive training on site automation and order entry systems.
Highlights & Schedule
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Holidays Off: Pharmacy is closed on all Missouri state holidays
Work-Life Balance: Zero weekend shifts or on-call responsibilities
Environment: Limited to no direct patient contact; supportive on-site staff available for guidance and troubleshooting
Key Responsibilities
Packager Technician Verification: Primary responsibility includes providing pharmacist checks for technicians assigned to automated packagers (including checking flagged bags, repackaging, bag corrections, and refilling canisters).
Barcode Checking: Perform final checks on medications using barcode scanning technology after filling by technicians.
Order Verification: Conduct limited order verification as required.
Quality & Accuracy: Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
Active, unencumbered Missouri Pharmacist License (Required)
High attention to detail and strong focus on verification accuracy
Ability to work comfortably in an automated setting
