Company Description
PAS Packaging is a B2B pharmacy packaging supplier serving pharmacy and healthcare operations nationwide. We're a data-driven team that cares about getting things right, and we're also a genuinely good group to work with: collaborative, low-ego, and enjoyable to be around, even when we're heads-down on detailed work.
We're looking for a detail-oriented Ecommerce & Product Data Specialist to help us build clean, reliable product data as we roll out a new ERP platform (Acumatica) and continue improving our BigCommerce site. This role has real room to grow as we build out our fast-growing team, and you'll have the chance to take on more ownership as you learn our systems and product data inside and out.
The Opportunity
Our product data currently lives across a legacy ERP system and other scattered sources, and much of it is incomplete or inconsistent. You'll play a central role in fixing that: building clean, structured product data for Acumatica from that fragmented starting point, keeping it accurate as we roll the new system out, and helping improve product data quality across our BigCommerce site, search experience, and SEO along the way.
Our catalog includes around 2,500 SKUs today, and we expect that to grow significantly over the next year, so the work you do now sets the foundation for where we're headed. You'll work closely with our Director of Ecommerce & Systems, who will be a hands-on partner as you ramp up.
This is a role for someone who takes real pride in getting the details right. There's no substitute for consistency and thoroughness here, but you won't be figuring it out alone.
What You'll Do
Product Data & Ecommerce
- Build clean, structured product data for Acumatica from fragmented legacy sources
- Build and maintain product data spreadsheets covering attributes, categories, pricing, and SKU details across our catalog
- Audit product data for completeness and accuracy, and flag gaps or inconsistencies before they go live
- Support product uploads and catalog updates in BigCommerce
- Help improve search and category data quality (Hawksearch) and SEO data quality across the site
- Participate in UAT and testing for the Acumatica–BigCommerce integration
IT Support (a small part of the role)
- Provide occasional day-to-day IT support for the office and serve as our point of contact with our outside IT provider
- Troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues and escalate as needed
- Support onboarding/offboarding of accounts and equipment for employees
What You Bring
- Strong attention to detail. You double-check your own work and catch errors early
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and (un)structured data (Excel proficiency required: formulas, lookups, basic data cleanup)
- A self-starter mindset. You can take direction and run with it, while checking in regularly to make sure you're on track
- A habit of asking good questions when instructions are unclear, rather than guessing
- Reliability people can count on: consistent attendance and proactive communication if something's going to be late or off-track
- Comfort with a role that's still evolving. Not everything is documented on day one, and we're building this together
- Experience with BigCommerce, HubSpot, or Acumatica is a strong plus, though not required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, information systems, data, or similar), or equivalent practical experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our Plainfield, IL office
The Details
- On-site, full-time, 40 hours/week, core hours 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- $65,000–$70,000, based on experience
- We offer a full benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k), paid holidays and sick time, and paid vacation
- Business casual dress
- The interview process may include a short, practical data exercise so both sides can confirm fit for the day-to-day work
