RPh on the Go is seeking two Staff Pharmacists for 13-week temp-to-perm opportunities in Southgate, Kentucky. Both first- and second-shift options are available, making this a strong opportunity for pharmacists seeking a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with the potential for permanent placement.
Term of Assignment: 13-week temp-to-perm
Schedule: Monday–Friday
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
Job Duties:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients while ensuring prescriptions are processed and dispensed accurately
- Perform order verification and support efficient pharmacy workflow
- Counsel patients regarding prescription medications and healthcare needs
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate pharmacy documentation
- Maintain controlled substance records and required documentation
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding prescriptions and patient needs
- Utilize appropriate clinical and pharmacy reference materials to resolve prescription-related questions or concerns
- Identify and resolve medication, prescription, and workflow issues as they arise
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
Requirements:
- Clear and active Kentucky Pharmacist license
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience
- Retail or mail-order pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and order-verification skills
- Strong communication and patient-service skills
