Key Qualifications And Experience
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working in high school special education settings
- Deep understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Skill in adapting curriculum and instruction for diverse learners

- Ability to foster inclusive and supportive classroom environments
Responsibilities
- Provide push-in support within general education classrooms to high school students with special needs
- Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with staff and families
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to promote student success and access to curriculum
- Collect data, track student progress, and document interventions and outcomes
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members about goals and progress
- Participate in required meetings, professional development, and ongoing training to stay current on best practices in special education
- Maintain an organized schedule, working Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
