Job Opportunity: Interim Director of Pharmacy - PIC
Location: Teays Valley, WV area
Pay Rate: $65.00 – $75.00 / hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (plus on-call coverage after shifts and on weekends)
Start date: 8/31 - 3+ months
Setting: Behavioral Health

Position Overview
Rx relief is seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy & Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a facility near Teays Valley, WV. This role combines hands-on pharmacy staffing with key administrative leadership. Onsite training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfill all administrative duties and legal responsibilities associated with acting as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).
Manage daily pharmacy operations, clinical oversight, and regulatory compliance within a behavioral health setting.
Provide direct staffing coverage and oversight of medication management systems.
Handle off-hours on-call responsibilities for weeknights and weekends as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
Licensure: Active West Virginia Pharmacist License in good standing (Required).
Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
Technology: Hands-on experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
