Providing specialized speech-language therapy services in a school setting, this contract position is designed for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists with experience in telespeech and teletherapy.
Location: Columbus, GA
Duration: August 3, 2026 – May 21, 2027 (including potential pre/post planning days)
Schedule: Full-time, minimum 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students across the district, with caseload assignments tailored based on each therapist’s expertise and preferences.
- Complete detailed daily service logs to ensure documentation and compliance with district requirements.
- Engage with district staff during the interview to determine appropriate student age groups and placements.
- Provide services either onsite or virtually depending on district needs and therapist experience.
Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Georgia Educator Certification for SLP.
- Proven experience delivering virtual speech therapy services within schools.
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseload and maintaining thorough documentation.
- Comfortable working full-time hours with a commitment to ongoing communication and collaboration with district personnel.
