Job Summary
The Sales Operations Specialist (SOS) is responsible for fostering positive relationships between sales and marketing to facilitate revenue via marketing lead generation through sales-closed won deals. The SOS is charged with the ongoing analysis of lead generation, sales process, and sales reporting. The SOS is also charged with monitoring the receipt of contracts from signed quotes and ensuring documentation flow from the CRM to the ERP. The SOS is charged with routine data integrity, clean-up, and overall monitoring of the CRM to ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and track the quote-to-contract process, partnering closely with Sales, Accounting, and Legal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Serve as a key liaison between Sales, Operations, and Revenue Leadership, facilitating communication and supporting strategic business initiatives.
- Maintain and optimize CRM data integrity to support accurate reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Analyze CRM data and market insights to identify trends, measure business performance, and provide recommendations that support growth objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to coordinate and execute campaigns, track results, and drive operational efficiency.
- Partner with Hardware Procurement and Billing teams to communicate product updates, pricing changes, and offer enhancements to sales stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business operations and leadership visibility.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and improve the overall customer and sales experience.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing corporate priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Proficient utilization of CRM, such as Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.
- Travel Requirements: Domestic and/or International, up to 10%
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum years of work experience: 3 years
- Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors or equivalent work experience in B2B in marketing or client success or sales.
