Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Atlanta, GA 30313
Duration: 12 Months
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Job Summary
Support the Quality Management System (QMS) by performing product testing, reviewing production documentation, conducting inspections and audits, and ensuring compliance with GMP and GLP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product testing to support complaint investigations and stability verification.
- Generate product testing reports.
- Review production and finished goods batch records (DHRs) for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify, document, and ensure resolution of deviations prior to product approval.
- Conduct spot-check inspections and production audits.
- Participate in internal audit programs.
- Write, review, and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support document control, record retention, and sample retention activities.
- Process returned instruments, including logging, decontamination, inspection, documentation, and preparation for repair.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Preferred Experience
- At least 1 year of Quality Assurance experience in the medical device industry.
