Key Qualifications
- Valid ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of strong radiology experience (or 2 years for first-time travelers)
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy and surgical radiology procedures
- Demonstrated experience in portable, trauma, and diagnostic x-ray
- O-arm and DEXA experience preferred but not required
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday (6:30pm–7:00am)
- Full-time hours (36 per week)
- Orientation includes one 8-hour hospital session and 2–3 dayshifts with a mentor
- Holiday coverage as per hospital policy (includes one major and one minor holiday)
- Voluntary on-call opportunities
- Floating within various areas of the main radiology department
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient radiographic imaging, primarily for adults, with occasional pediatric exams
- Operate GE, Siemens, and Carestream imaging equipment as well as Cerner EMR
- Provide imaging support for fluoroscopic, surgical, and trauma cases
- Float across different radiology units as needed to support department volume
- Maintain exceptional patient care standards and follow safety protocols throughout all imaging procedures
