Title: Employee Relations Specialist
Location: Abbott Park, IL, Remote 100%
Duration: 4+ months
Responsibilities
- Provides expert consultative and problem solving services to managers, employees and other HR functions regarding HR policies and practices. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Effectively and accurately maintains confidential ER data in both systems and paper files.
- Ensures professional service is provided at all times in accordance with the ER Service Level Agreement.
- Independently resolves Employee Relations matters.
- Understands customer’s business and ER requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2-4 years experience within a corporate HR environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to work confidentially and professionally with all levels of employees.
- Software knowledge a plus: Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel, Workday (or other system of record experience highly preferred), Zendesk (or other CRM experience highly preferred).
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
