Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exceptional opportunity is available for a skilled professional experienced in Nuclear Medicine technology to join an imaging department with a collaborative but independent working environment. In this engaging role, you will be the primary technologist for Nuclear Medicine, utilizing advanced equipment and handling a moderate workload within a well-supported organization.
Schedule
- Four 9-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday (7:00 am – 4:30 pm)
- Fridays off
- No on-call requirements
Key Qualifications
- Proven Nuclear Medicine technologist expertise, confident to work solo with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Siemens E Gamma Camera and standard Nuclear Medicine hot lab equipment
- Ability to reliably perform Monthly Quality Control and Leak Tests
- Experience attending Quarterly RSO meetings
- Capacity to handle approximately 3-4 NM Stress Tests and 1-2 General NM studies per week
- Previous CT experience strongly preferred, maximizing your impact during lower NM volume periods
- Professional certification and state requirements completed for Nuclear Medicine technology
Core Responsibilities
- Independently conduct all Nuclear Medicine procedures following protocol and compliance standards
- Maintain regular quality control and safety testing, including leak tests and documentation
- Participate in required regulatory meetings (Quarterly RSO)
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members as needed, while thriving in a primarily autonomous position
- Assist with CT studies if qualified, contributing to department flexibility and patient care
