Schedule
- Day shifts, 5x8 hour shifts per week
Qualifications
- ARRT Nuclear Medicine (ARRT N) or Radiography (ARRT R) credential required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven skills in nuclear medicine techniques and procedures
- Experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment highly desirable
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging studies based on physician orders
- Operate PET, SPECT, and gamma cameras, ensuring precise and quality imaging
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to best practice and safety protocols
- Monitor patient status and comfort throughout procedures, addressing concerns promptly
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other members of the care team for optimal results
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, report malfunctions as needed
- Keep current with continuing education and certifications to uphold professional standards
