Position Details
- Full time contract/contract to hire (3-6 months)
- Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Verify medication orders for accuracy, dosing, interactions, allergies, and clinical appropriateness
- Dispense medications safely and efficiently in an inpatient hospital setting
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students during medication preparation
- Provide drug information and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist with inventory management and medication safety initiatives
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on patient care and discharge planning
- Support sterile compounding and IV room operations as needed
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD accepted)
- At least 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Sterile compounding and IV room experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Experience with EPIC Dispense Prep and EPIC Camera Verification System strongly desired
- Strong medication safety knowledge and ability to respond appropriately to dispensing or compounding errors
