Inpatient Pharmacist

We are looking for a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to join our rehabilitation hospital team near Kronenwetter, WI. This is a focused, collaborative environment where you can truly get to know your patients and play an active role in their recovery journeys.

Location: Near Kronenwetter, WI
Pay Range: $68.00 – $75.00 per hour (based on experience)
Start Date: ASAP (we are ready when you are!)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Yes, we can be flexible with these hours!)
On-Call/After-Hours: Shared rotation with the Pharmacy Manager (weekends/after-hours). You'll act as the backup to our Remote Order Entry Service during these times.
?? Your Day-to-Day Impact
You won't just be counting pills behind a counter. In this role, you are the clinical anchor for the afternoon and evening care teams.
Clinical Oversight: Verify medication orders, monitor patient profiles, and ensure safety at every turn.
Be the Expert: Address clinical inquiries from our nursing and medical staff. They rely on your expertise to optimize patient therapy.
Lead the Shift: Directly supervise the pharmacy technician on duty and keep operations running seamlessly.
Inventory Control: Oversee Pyxis inventory management to ensure meds are exactly where they need to be, when they need to be there.
? What You Bring to the Table
Because this is a specialized rehabilitation setting, we need someone who can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding.
The Basics: Active, unrestricted Wisconsin Pharmacist License.
Inpatient Experience: You know the rhythm of a hospital pharmacy and feel right at home in an inpatient setting.
IV Compounding Skills: Hands-on experience with IV compounding is required.
Leadership Mindset: Comfort supervising technicians and working independently during your shift.
