Role Description The Senior Account Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Santa Monica, CA. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and driving new business and expansion opportunities within assigned territories or verticals. The Senior Account Executive will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, develop account strategies, and collaborate with internal teams such as solution consultants, marketing, and customer success to address client needs. Day-to-day activities include pipeline management, accurate forecasting, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring smooth handoffs to implementation and support teams. The role also involves staying current on NetSuite’s product roadmap, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position NetSuite’s AI-powered cloud solutions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in B2B software or SaaS sales, with experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles and closing enterprise-level deals.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, account planning, and pipeline management, with the ability to maintain accurate forecasts and meet or exceed quota.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, including experience delivering product demos and engaging executive-level stakeholders.
- Background in ERP, CRM, finance, or business management solutions, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value.
- Collaborative approach to working with solution engineers, marketing, and customer success teams, with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales productivity software; familiarity with data-driven selling and understanding of AI-driven business applications is beneficial.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand client operations, identify challenges, and craft tailored solution recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in technology sales.
