Oversee and lead the pharmacy operations as an Infusion Pharmacy Manager with a direct hire opportunity in Norcross, GA. This role emphasizes strong management skills, dedication to training, and hands-on infusion pharmacy experience to ensure exceptional patient care and pharmacy compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily pharmacy operations, including workflow delegation and staff coordination
- Manage pharmacists and technicians, providing structured feedback and annual performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and hold team members accountable
- Collaborate with logistics for proper storage and handling of medications and supplies
- Address daily operational issues with referral sources and internal stakeholders
- Develop and implement quarterly and annual departmental goals aligned with organizational priorities
- Provide pharmaceutical care through patient counseling, prescription review, and dispensing
- Lead Human Resources initiatives related to staff development and performance management
Qualifications / Desired Experience
- Proven management experience overseeing pharmacy staff, with a significant focus on training and orientation
- Prior infusion pharmacy and infusion management experience is required
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to pharmacy practice
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- Experience utilizing systems such as CPR+ and CareTend preferred
- Valid Georgia pharmacist license
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with flexibility
- Administrative on-call duties
