We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, onsite school-based position in Ridgeway, Alaska serving the Central/Eastern Peninsula area. Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
- Support student development in fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional independence
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Alaska (or ability to obtain)
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Position Details
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite only (in-person services required)
- Covers the Central/Eastern Peninsula region
- School-year contract with consistent weekly hours
