Position Overview
Role: Inpatient Pharmacist (RPh)
Location: Northwestern New Mexico
Start Date: 8/1/2026
Duration: 3+ months (potential to extend)
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Monday through Friday
Shift: Day Shift (typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or similar)
On-Call: Yes, potential for after-hours on-call rotation
Dress Code: Business Casual
Key Responsibilities
Perform inpatient pharmacist duties including order entry, review, and verification.
Utilize Cerner for order entry and clinical tracking.
Manage and oversee automated medication dispensing using Pyxis site automation.
Perform sterile compounding as part of daily job functions.
Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure safe and accurate medication distribution, dosage, and administration.
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensure: Must hold an active, clear New Mexico (NM) Pharmacist License.
Experience: Proven experience working in an inpatient hospital setting.
Skills: Proficiency with Cerner (Order Entry) and Pyxis (Automation). Strong clinical knowledge of sterile compounding protocols.
