Retail Pharmacist – Scott City, KS (Travel Contract)
We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist for an 8-week travel contract opportunity in Scott City, Kansas. This assignment offers a consistent daytime schedule in a retail pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate will have strong retail pharmacy experience and be comfortable managing daily pharmacy operations while delivering exceptional patient care.
Term of Assignment: August 7, 2026 – October 2, 2026
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Full-Time, Day Shift
- 8-week maternity leave coverage assignment
Job Duties:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including medication dispensing, workflow management, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
- Provide immunization services and patient counseling as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements
- Support and mentor pharmacy staff while promoting operational efficiency and high-quality patient service
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing and medication management activities
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Kansas Pharmacist license
- Recent retail pharmacy experience required
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment
