Schedule
- Thursday: 10:30am-11:00pm (Orthopedic Hospital)
- Friday: 10:30am-11:00pm (Orthopedic Hospital)
- Saturday: 6:30pm-7:00am (Main Facility)
- 3x12 hour shifts, days
- 13-week assignment with no on-call requirement
Qualifications
- Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
- Proven hands-on experience operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
- In-depth knowledge of imaging safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptability to various procedures and patient populations, particularly within orthopedic care settings
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
- Operate MRI scanners and optimize imaging parameters based on individual cases
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians to deliver accurate imaging results
- Maintain thorough documentation of scans and patient interactions in compliance with hospital standards
- Monitor and manage equipment function; report issues and ensure proper maintenance
