Step into a rewarding school-based role supporting students’ communication needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This position, located near Solvang, CA, offers both full-time and part-time opportunities in an onsite setting, beginning August 7, 2026, and concluding June 4, 2027. You will work across 180 school days, with an additional 20 days scheduled before and after the academic year for planning and wrap-up, providing well-rounded clinical and educational support to a diverse student population.
What You Bring
- Valid CTC credential required, or active pursuit of CTC documented (must be willing to obtain & pay for permit)
- CCC-SLP or CFY status welcomed
- Experience in school-based SLP, pediatrics, teletherapy, or healthcare preferred
- Strong understanding of speech/language assessment and intervention for TK–8th grade
- Comfort managing a mixed caseload of up to 58 students in a school setting
- Commitment to collaborate and communicate with diverse teams, families, and students
- Ability to maintain accurate records and adherence to school and legal guidelines
Role At a Glance
- Deliver speech-language therapy and diagnostic services to students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade at a single location
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP processes
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress
- Provide direct and consultative services both during and beyond the academic year for a total of 1600 hours
This contract role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $45–$55, reflective of your skills and experience.
