An interim Director of Pharmacy position is available at a 70-bed LTAC hospital in San Diego, CA. This role offers an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the site, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical services and compliance with regulatory standards. The position is contract-based with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and leadership for all pharmacy operations
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage pharmacy staff and workflow to ensure efficient service delivery
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
- Utilize RX Connect for pharmacy information technology needs
Qualifications / Desired Experience
- Active California pharmacist license
- Previous experience as a Director of Pharmacy within California
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with LTAC hospital pharmacy operations preferred

This contract role is available immediately for approximately 13 weeks with potential to convert to a permanent position. The position requires commitment to daytime weekday hours and leadership excellence.
