Soliant is working with a growing veterinary compounding pharmacy that's looking for a Staff Pharmacist to join its team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of 3–4 pharmacy technicians while overseeing daily pharmacy workflow.
- Verify prescriptions, review approximately 25–30 recurring formularies, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Assist with inventory management and support efficient day-to-day pharmacy operations.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Foster a team-oriented culture focused on outstanding care for veterinary patients.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist license (state requirements apply).
- Previous experience in veterinary, equine, or animal compounding pharmacy highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring pharmacy staff.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow established procedures, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Pharmacy Overview
- Veterinary and equine compounding pharmacy
- Primarily non-sterile compounding with some sterile prescriptions
- Ships approximately 200+ prescriptions daily
- Team of 4 pharmacists, each supervising 3–4 technicians
- Current systems include PK Software and QuickBooks Online
