Job Requirements
Required Skills:
• 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a director or senior
leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in a mid-to-large
organization.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; experience with distribution ERP platforms
strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data visualization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex financial data into clear
business insights for executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
Preferred Skills:
• CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
• Experience in medical distribution, healthcare, or a similar regulated industry.
• Familiarity with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) or similar distribution ERP systems.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and board-level financial reporting.
• MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business.
Job Responsibilities
How You’ll Make an Impact:
• Lead all financial planning and analysis activities, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and
long-range financial planning.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial
reporting.
• Prepare and present financial statements, variance analyses, and key performance metrics to executive
leadership and ownership.
• Partner with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, providing insights and
recommendations to optimize spend and profitability.
• Manage and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability,
and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial controls; coordinate with external
auditors during annual audits.
• Lead cash flow management, including monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and working
capital optimization.
• Support strategic initiatives including pricing analysis, customer profitability analysis, and M&A due
diligence as needed.
• Drive adoption and optimization of financial systems and reporting tools to improve efficiency and data
visibility.
• Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
