POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Specialist II is responsible for accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. Manages and maintains the inventory system. Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Assesses inventory reports.
• Provides inventory reports to procurement and management.
· Management of inventory (including pulling short-dates, damaged inventory, product disposition, and vendor returns)
• Implements and maintains processes and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
· Resolves any inventory issues and is accountable for highlighting any potential issues and opportunities to management when appropriate.
· Ensures the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics are maintained and reported monthly.
• Works across various teams to coordinate and complete cycle counts;
• Engages with customer service operations to assist in resolving customer delivery product discrepancies;
• Develops & maintains good working relationships with vendors
· Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory Audits
· Performs other related duties/functions as requested

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Five+ years’ experience in Inventory Control along with computerized inventory systems required. Experience using RF Gun
Requirements/Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively. Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
Skills: Presentation skills, motivating others, foster teamwork, customer service, emphasizing excellence. In addition, experience in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
