Position Overview
Our long-time school district partner is seeking a
full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for the full 2026–2027 academic year. This role serves students across multiple campuses and age ranges, requiring flexibility, collaboration, and strong clinical judgment.
Key Requirements
- Active NM State Licensure (NMRLD) required by start date
- Active NMPED Certification (New Mexico Public Education Department)
- NMPED certification is typically fast to obtain if the candidate stays on top of the process
- Willingness to supervise COTA(s)
- Willingness to travel between multiple schools
- Comfortable serving students of all ages (PreK–12)

- Provide direct and indirect OT services across multiple campuses
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Supervise and support assigned COTA(s)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with NMRLD and NMPED standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and documentation requirements
