Job Summary
This role has the end-to-end global supply accountability for the assigned value stream. This role is responsible for leading and managing supply chain manager/professionals and site level supply chain, ensuring excellent customer service and supply chain operations performance. The role is a point of contact for supply planning leadership and is accountable for the end-to-end supply of a value stream. This role is responsible for the deployment of the strategy, management of the long/short-term capacity planning and participation in the annual budgeting process.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for the end-to-end global product supply execution for the value stream; orchestrating the plan, source, make, deliver to ensure product supply and customer service.
- Manage and develop global network planners, plant supply chain leaders and plant supply chain professionals.
- Responsible for ensuring long-/short-term capacity analysis, the execution of the network optimization plan and end to end inventory management.
- Provides comprehensive information, analytics and visibility of the value stream supply status.
- Develops long term network master plans for all manufacturing sites in the value stream with a focus on long term strategic capacity planning.
- Drives and oversees supply chain performance and continuous improvement initiatives within the planning and materials functions. Drives performance on target service levels and other supply chain KPI’s.
- Partners with Customer Success and Commercial for the short-term supply to customers.
- Implements objectives aligned with business strategies, builds and manages a high performing team that can scale and support future growth.
- Implements appropriate processes and structures to deliver commitments; identify and communicate risks across the supply chain.
- Ensure the budget and strategic plan for respective value stream
- Implements process and systems to support optimized supply planning, escalation, and risk mitigation.
- Key leader and contributor in the value stream; escalating risks and supply constraints, providing scenarios, proposing alternate solutions and comprehensive analytics to drive consensus and rapid decision making.
- Is accountable for the Global Supply Review process incorporating constraints to the network plan and any deviations to budget or the previous plan.
- Active leader in prioritization or allocations; providing single source communication for the value stream.
- Supports the development of the right functional structure for the value stream and staffing plan to achieve objectives of cost, service, and growth.
- Develops strong relationships with adjacent cross functional clients.
- Ensures compliance with Global Supply policies and procedures.
- Drives adherence to using the ERP system and Power BI.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Science or technical field; supply chain management required
- Master's Degree MBA or advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain Management (APICS or CSCP certification) strongly preferred
Work Experience
- 10+ years of supply chain management and planning experience for a global Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or Consumer Product Company using world class supply chain planning required
- Execution process experience with at least 3 years as a manager required
- Experience with organization change management in a globally diverse, rapidly changing environment preferred

- Skilled in achieving results and managing others to achieve corporate, site, and departmental objectives
- Excellent communication skills, strong overall presentation and influencing skills, assertiveness and ability to interact and gain support of senior management
- Ability to create and foster a team-based environment to create and maintain cooperative relationships across the organization.

License and Certifications
- Manufacturing\APCIS-Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or CSCP upon hire preferred

20%: Up to 52 business days per year
Physical Requirements
