Role Description The Plasma Center Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Amarillo, TX, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the plasma donation center. This role includes leading and coaching center staff, ensuring excellent donor experience, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory, quality, and safety requirements. The Plasma Center Manager monitors key performance indicators, manages staffing levels and scheduling, and oversees training and performance evaluations. Responsibilities also include managing the center budget, optimizing operational efficiency, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. The Plasma Center Manager serves as a visible leader within the community, supporting donor engagement, upholding company values, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills, including team supervision, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Experience in healthcare, plasma collection, laboratory, biopharmaceutical, or regulated clinical environments, with strong knowledge of quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Operational management capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, workflow optimization, and data-driven decision-making using key performance indicators.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, support donors, and represent the center within the local community.
- Proficiency with basic office software, electronic systems, and the ability to quickly learn center-specific applications and documentation tools.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Amarillo, TX, with flexibility to support extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant management experience.
- CPR/first aid certification or willingness to obtain, and comfort working in a clinical environment that involves blood and biological materials.
