Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee daily retail operations within the hospital's community pharmacy, ensuring top-tier patient care and operational safety.
Order Verification: Provide final clinical verification and quality assurance on all technician-prepared products prior to dispensing.
Accurate Data Management: Efficiently enter and review patient information, medical histories, and prescription orders within the management system.
Pharmacy Security: Maintain strict oversight of the pharmacy perimeter and enforce rigorous compliance protocols for controlled substances.
Workflow Efficiency: Accurately fill and process medication orders while managing a smooth daily workflow.
Qualifications & Skills
Licensure: Must hold an active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Indiana.
Experience: Proven background working in a retail pharmacy setting is required.
Technical Savvy: Prior experience with the PioneerRx order entry system is strongly preferred.
Location: This position is open to local candidates only.
Schedule & Coverage
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week.
Weekday Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (including every other Saturday)
