About the Role
The Implementation Analyst is responsible for managing and monitoring the completion of tasks relating to installing XiFin Empower LIS for a XiFin customer.
This role owns the overall success of a project, including time and resource management, issue and risk management, troubleshooting, technical analysis, and project execution and requires exceptional communication and relationship building skills. The ability to successfully navigate challenges and negotiate resolutions will be key to your success. The right candidate must be organized, detail oriented, flexible and have the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Experience with Laboratory Information Systems such as Epic Beaker, Cerner, Orchard, etc. is highly desirable. This LIS experience would include understanding both standard and complex laboratory workflows.
This role requires an exceptional communicator with strong relationship building skills. You are organized, detail oriented, flexible and can adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
This is an onsite position at our San Diego, CA office.

How you will make an impact:
In this role, you’ll:
- Understand laboratory processes, workflow, and change management.
- Review and adhere to XiFin policies as documented in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Understand and enforce XiFin security protocols regarding data and access to customer environments.
- Responsible to manage risks and issues including identifying, analyzing, tracking, managing, escalating, and mitigating risks and issues that impact the project timelines.
- Maintain oral and written communication to record progress, issues and status of tasks, relating to the implementation, to the customer, XiFin groups and XiFin Executive Management.
- Identify all stakeholders and confirm understanding of the project schedule and key milestones.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with protocols which ensure XiFin's adherence to audit requirements.
- Prepare SQL scripts for database imports (test compendium, clients, etc.).
- Troubleshoot problems, including reading code and identifying technical solutions.
- Scope out requirements and monitor the completion of the interfaces between the LIS and external instruments/systems.
- Configure laboratory workflows.
- Confirm scheduling of and communicate schedule for on-site production support.
- Reporting project statuses and escalating issues to the Sr Manager, Implementations.
- Tracking project metrics for Executive Leadership review.

Skills and experience you have:
You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:
- BA/BS in Business, Healthcare, Computer Science, IT or a relevant field required.
- Experienced in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in project management, coordination and problem solving.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience writing SQL or other basic database experience is a plus
- Experience writing code in C#,Java or other mainstream language.
Must be available to travel domestically up to 15% of the time.

Pay Transparency
At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected annual salary range for this role is: $78,500 - $97,500. Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
