We are seeking a qualified
School Psychologist near Lafayette for a full-time position during the 2026-2027 school year. This role will support students across Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting student success through evaluation, consultation, and collaboration with educators, families, and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families
- Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive reports
- Assist in the development of appropriate academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
- Support students across a variety of educational settings and grade levels
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required district clearances
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Previous school-based experience
- Experience with evaluations and report writing
- Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development
