Job Description

Biopharmaceutical Operations & Equipment

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot large-scale equipment:
- Bacterial and viral analytical assays.
- Titrations
- ELISA
- PCR
Operate automated process controllers and perform cell culture in flasks, bioreactors, and fermenters.

Compliance & Documentation

Perform all operations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Write, revise, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Complete required documentation:
GMP records, timecards, order requisitions, and reports.

Sample & Data Management

Handle and store samples properly to ensure integrity.
Collect and analyze process data using:
Process control systems
Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Facility & Safety Maintenance

Clean production areas per SOPs.
Maintain adequate inventory of supplies.
Promote and adhere to safety protocols:
MSDS guidelines, PPE usage, biohazard handling, and safety training.

Communication & Teamwork

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
Communicate effectively across teams using verbal, written, and non-verbal methods.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in:
- Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or other physical sciences
Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
Hands-on experience or knowledge in:
- Biopharmaceutical production
- Cell culture
- Harvest (centrifugation/filtration)
- Tangential and normal flow membrane filtration
- Chromatography
Familiarity with aseptic techniques
